Image generation fails
If the AI cannot generate an image, try the following:
- Check your credits. Image generation requires credits (5 for Quick, 10 for Pro). If you have run out, your credits will refresh at the start of your next billing cycle, or you can upgrade your plan. See Plans & Billing.
- Try again. Occasionally, generation can fail due to a temporary issue. Wait a few seconds and try once more.
- Switch between Quick and Pro. If one mode is not working, try the other. They use different generation models and one may succeed where the other does not.
- Simplify your prompt. Very long or complex prompts can sometimes cause issues. Try shortening your description or breaking it into simpler terms.
A post fails to publish
If a scheduled or immediate post does not go through:
- Check your account connection. Go to Settings > Connected Accounts and make sure the account still shows as connected. If it has been disconnected, reconnect it. See Connecting Your Accounts for help.
- Re-authorise the platform. Disconnect the account and connect it again. Platform tokens can expire, especially if you have recently changed your password.
- Check the platform's status. Occasionally, LinkedIn or Instagram may have outages that prevent publishing. Try again in a few minutes.
- Review the post content. Some platforms reject posts that violate their content guidelines. Check that your text and images meet the platform's requirements.
Brand analysis does not work
When you enter a website URL during onboarding or in your profile settings, Rheos analyses the site to extract your brand colours, tone, and style. If this does not work:
- Try a different URL. Some websites block automated access. Try your homepage or a public-facing page rather than a login-protected one.
- Check the URL format. Make sure you are entering a full URL including
https://(for example,https://yourbusiness.co.uk). - Set up your brand manually. If analysis continues to fail, you can enter your brand colours, upload your logo, and define your tone of voice manually from the Profile page. This gives you full control over your brand settings.
Slow loading or performance issues
If Rheos feels slow or pages are not loading properly:
- Clear your browser cache. Cached data can sometimes cause display issues. Clear your cache and refresh the page.
- Check your internet connection. Rheos requires a stable internet connection. Try loading another website to confirm your connection is working.
- Try a different browser. If the issue persists, try using a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge all work well with Rheos).
- Disable browser extensions. Some ad blockers or privacy extensions can interfere with web applications. Try disabling them temporarily.
A feature is not available
If you cannot find or access a feature:
- Check your plan. Some features are only available on higher tiers. For example, Instagram publishing requires the Business or Team plan. Visit Plans & Billing to see what each plan includes.
- Check for updates. We regularly add new features to Rheos. If you have heard about a feature that you cannot find, it may be rolling out soon.

Frequently Asked Questions
My post failed to publish. What happened?
The most common cause is an expired platform connection. Go to Settings > Connected Accounts, disconnect the affected account, and reconnect it. Then try publishing again. If the issue continues, check that the platform itself is not experiencing an outage.
Why is image generation slow?
Image generation typically takes a few seconds. If it is taking longer, this is usually due to high demand on our generation servers. Pro image generation takes slightly longer than Quick due to the more detailed model it uses. If generation seems stuck, cancel and try again.
I changed my password on LinkedIn/Instagram. Do I need to reconnect?
Yes. Changing your password on a social platform usually invalidates the connection token. Go to Settings > Connected Accounts, disconnect the account, and connect it again with your new credentials.
