Creating Your First Post

This guide takes you through creating a post from start to finish. By the end, you will have a ready-to-publish piece of content that matches your brand.

Step 1: Open the Create page

Click Create in the left sidebar or use the + New Post button from the Home page. You will see options for the type of content you want to make.

Step 2: Choose your content type

Rheos currently supports two content types, with more on the way:

• Text Post -- A caption-only post, ideal for quick thoughts, questions, or announcements. Available on all plans.
• Image -- A single visual with a caption. Available on all plans.
• Carousel -- Multiple slides that viewers swipe through. Coming soon.
• Video -- An animated video with scenes, text, and music. Coming soon.

For your first post, we recommend starting with a Text Post or Image since they are the quickest to create.

Step 3: Describe what you want

Tell Rheos what your post should be about. You can be as brief or detailed as you like. For example:

• "Announce our summer sale starting next Monday"
• "Share a tip about keeping houseplants alive in winter"
• "Promote our new coffee blend with a warm, inviting feel"

The more context you give, the more tailored the result. But even a single sentence works well. Rheos uses your profile settings (tone of voice, brand colours, target audience) to shape the output.

Step 4: Review the AI suggestions

Rheos generates multiple options for you to choose from. Each option includes:

• A complete caption written in your brand's tone of voice.
• Suggested hashtags relevant to your topic and audience.
• For image posts, a visual design that uses your brand colours and style.

Browse through the options and pick the one that feels right. You can also ask Rheos to generate more options if none of them are quite what you had in mind.

Step 5: Edit and refine

Once you have selected an option, you can make any adjustments:

• Edit the caption directly in the text editor. Change wording, add your own hashtags, or adjust the length.
• Swap the visual if you are working with an image post. Upload your own image or ask Rheos to generate a different design.
• Adjust the tone by clicking the AI assistant and asking it to rewrite in a different style.

Step 6: Save or publish

When you are happy with your post, you have three options:

• Save as Draft -- Keep it in your drafts to come back to later.
• Schedule -- Pick a date and time for the post to go out automatically.
• Publish Now -- Send it to your connected social accounts immediately.

Understanding credits

Text posts do not use any credits. Image generation uses credits from your monthly allowance:

• Quick image generation -- 5 credits per image.
• Pro image generation -- 10 credits per image (higher quality, more detail).
• Image edit -- 1 credit per edit.

Your credit allowance depends on your plan: Free gets 100 credits per month, Personal gets 400, Business gets 1,000, and Team gets 3,000. You can check your remaining credits in Settings.

Post limits

Each plan has a weekly post limit: Free allows 2 posts per week, Personal allows 5, Business allows 20, and Team is unlimited. Drafts do not count towards your limit -- only published or scheduled posts do.
