Your Profile
How to set up and manage your brand profile in Rheos, including colours, logos, fonts, tone of voice, and target audience.
Your profile is where Rheos learns everything about your brand. The colours, logo, fonts, tone of voice, and target audience you configure here are used by the AI every time it generates content for you. A well-configured profile means every post looks and sounds like it came from your business.

What your profile includes
Your brand profile covers several key areas:
- Brand colours -- Your primary and secondary colours, used in generated visuals and image overlays.
- Logo -- Your business logo, placed on visual posts and video content.
- Fonts -- The typefaces that match your brand identity.
- Tone of voice -- How your brand speaks. Friendly, professional, witty, authoritative, or anything in between.
- Target audience -- Who you are trying to reach. This helps the AI tailor language, topics, and hooks to resonate with the right people.
Automatic brand analysis
The fastest way to set up your profile is to let Rheos analyse your website. During onboarding (or any time from the Profile page), enter your website URL and Rheos will:
- Scan your site for brand colours, logos, and visual style.
- Read your copy to understand your tone of voice.
- Identify your likely target audience based on your content.
This gives you a strong starting point in seconds. You can then fine-tune any of the results manually.
Manual configuration
If you do not have a website, or you want full control, you can set everything up by hand:
- Go to Profile from the sidebar.
- Upload your logo and select your brand colours using the colour picker.
- Choose your preferred fonts.
- Describe your tone of voice in plain English. For example: "Warm and approachable, but knowledgeable. We avoid corporate jargon."
- Describe your target audience. For example: "Small business owners aged 30 to 50 who are active on LinkedIn."
You can be as detailed or as brief as you like. The more context you give Rheos, the better it tailors your content.
How your profile affects generated content
Everything in your profile feeds directly into the AI. When you create a post, Rheos uses your profile to:
- Write captions in your tone of voice.
- Generate visuals using your brand colours and logo.
- Choose hooks and calls to action that suit your audience.
- Match the overall feel of your existing brand.
This is why setting up your profile properly makes such a big difference. Without it, Rheos generates generic content. With it, every post feels like it was written and designed specifically for your business.
Updating your profile
Your brand will evolve over time, and your profile should evolve with it. To make changes:
- Go to Profile from the sidebar.
- Edit any section -- colours, logo, fonts, tone, or audience.
- Save your changes.
All future content will use the updated settings. Existing posts that have already been published are not affected.
Profile vs brand setup
If you have already followed the setting up your brand guide during onboarding, your profile is already configured. The Profile page is where you return to review, refine, or change those settings at any time.
Tips for a strong profile
- Be specific with tone of voice. Instead of "professional," try "confident and direct, with a touch of humour. We use short sentences and avoid buzzwords."
- Define your audience clearly. The more Rheos knows about who you are speaking to, the more relevant your generated content will be.
- Review quarterly. As your business grows, your audience and messaging may shift. A quick profile review every few months keeps your content on track.
- Upload a high-quality logo. A crisp logo on your visual posts makes a noticeable difference to how polished your content looks.
Next steps
With your profile configured, you are ready to create content that matches your brand. Start with a text post or explore images and carousels.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Rheos really analyse my website automatically?
Yes, when you provide your website URL, Rheos scans the page for brand colours, logos, imagery, and copy. It uses this information to pre-fill your profile with colours, tone of voice, and audience details. You can adjust anything it gets wrong.
How does my tone of voice affect AI-generated content?
Your tone of voice setting is included in every AI prompt Rheos runs. If you describe your tone as "casual and friendly," the AI will write captions that sound relaxed and conversational. If you choose "formal and authoritative," it will produce more polished, professional language.
Can I change my profile after I have published posts?
Yes, you can update your profile at any time. Changes apply to all future content. Posts that have already been published or scheduled will keep their original styling and copy.
Do I need a website to set up my profile?
No, the website analysis is optional. You can configure every part of your profile manually by entering your colours, uploading your logo, and describing your tone of voice and audience in your own words.
