Plans & Billing

Everything you need to know about Rheos plans, credits, and managing your subscription.

Written by

Rheos offers three plans designed to grow with your business: Free, Business, and Team. Whether you are just getting started or managing content for a team, there is a plan that fits.

The three plans

Rheos has a simple tier structure. Each plan gives you more credits, higher post limits, and access to additional platforms.

Free -- £0 per month. You get 400 credits, up to 5 posts per week, and can publish to LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and Threads. No credit card required.

Business -- £35 per month (or £29/mo billed annually). You get 1,500 credits and up to 20 posts per week, no #Rheos watermark on published posts. Publishes to LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and Threads. Includes personal and business brand support. 14-day free trial included (one per person).

Team -- £95 per month (or £79/mo billed annually). You get 4,000 credits and 50 posts per week. Publishes to LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and Threads. You can invite up to 5 team members and manage up to 3 business brands. See Team & Collaboration for more details.

How credits work

Credits are your creative budget inside Rheos. Every time the AI generates something for you, it uses a small number of credits. Think of them like fuel for your content engine.

Here is what different actions cost:

  • Quick image generation -- 5 credits. Fast, high-quality images using our standard model.
  • Pro image generation -- 10 credits. Premium image generation with more detail and control.
  • Carousel slide -- 5 credits per slide. Each slide in a carousel costs the same as a quick image.
  • Image editing -- 1 credit. Touch up or adjust an existing image.

Text generation, caption writing, and post suggestions are included in your plan at no extra credit cost.

Upgrading or downgrading your plan

You can change your plan at any time from Settings > Billing.

To upgrade, select the plan you want and confirm. Your new credits and limits take effect immediately. You will be charged the difference for the remainder of your current billing cycle.

To downgrade, select a lower plan. The change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You keep your current plan's benefits until then.

Managing your payment

Go to Settings > Billing to view and update your payment details. From here you can:

  • Update your card on file.
  • View your billing history and download invoices.
  • Cancel your subscription.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

What happens when you run out of credits

If your credits reach zero, you will not be able to generate new images until your credits refresh at the start of your next billing cycle. You can still create text posts, edit existing content, and schedule or publish posts you have already created.

If you need more credits before your renewal date, you can purchase a credit pack or upgrade to a higher plan.

Credit packs

If you run out of credits mid-cycle, you can buy credit packs on top of your plan rather than upgrading. Packs are available in four sizes:

  • 100 credits -- £2
  • 500 credits -- £9
  • 1,000 credits -- £17
  • 2,000 credits -- £32

Unlike your monthly plan credits, purchased credit packs roll over month to month and never expire. They are used after your plan credits are exhausted each cycle.

What happens when you hit your post limit

Each plan has a weekly post limit (except Team, which is unlimited). Once you reach your limit for the week, you will not be able to publish or schedule additional posts until the following week. You can still create and save drafts during this time.

Billing cycle and renewal

Your billing cycle starts on the day you first subscribe and renews on the same date each month. Credits refresh to your full plan allowance at the start of each cycle. Unused credits do not carry over.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I buy more credits without upgrading?

Yes. You can purchase credit packs at any time from Settings > Billing. Packs start at 100 credits for £2 and go up to 2,000 credits for £32. Purchased credits roll over and never expire.

What happens if I downgrade my plan?

Your current plan stays active until the end of your billing cycle. When the new cycle starts, you will move to the lower plan with its credit allowance and post limits. Any content you have already created is not affected.

Do unused credits roll over to the next month?

Plan credits reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not carry over. Credit packs that you purchase separately do roll over and never expire. So if you want credits that persist, purchasing a credit pack is the way to go.

Is there an annual billing option?

Yes. Annual billing saves approximately 17% compared to monthly pricing. You can switch to annual billing from Settings > Billing.
