Post performance tracking
Every published post in Rheos shows performance data pulled from your connected social media accounts. You can see at a glance which posts are getting traction and which ones fell flat.
Head to Posts and select any published post to view its performance breakdown. Metrics update automatically as your connected platforms report new data.
Engagement metrics
Rheos tracks the key metrics that matter for social media growth:
- Impressions -- How many times your post was shown to people.
- Reach -- How many unique accounts saw your post.
- Likes and reactions -- Direct positive engagement with your content.
- Comments -- Conversations sparked by your post.
- Shares and reposts -- How often your content was shared with a wider audience.
- Clicks -- Link clicks or profile visits driven by your post.
Not every metric is available on every platform. The data you see depends on what each social network makes available through its API.
Best times to post
Rheos analyses your posting history and engagement patterns to suggest the best times to publish. These suggestions are personalised to your audience, not generic best-practice advice.
As you publish more content, these suggestions become more accurate. The more data Rheos has, the better it can identify when your specific audience is most active.
Understanding your audience
Over time, Rheos builds a picture of who is engaging with your content. This includes:
- Which types of posts get the most engagement (text, image, carousel (coming soon), or video (coming soon)).
- Which topics resonate with your audience.
- How engagement varies across different platforms.
Use these insights to shape your content strategy. If your audience responds well to behind-the-scenes posts on Instagram but prefers thought leadership on LinkedIn, you can tailor your content mix accordingly.
Platform availability
Analytics are available on all Rheos plans, but the depth of data depends on which platforms you have connected:
- Free and Personal plans -- LinkedIn personal profile analytics.
- Business and Team plans -- LinkedIn personal and business page analytics, plus Instagram analytics.
The more platforms you connect, the richer your insights become. If you are on the Business or Team plan, connecting Instagram unlocks a whole extra layer of engagement data.
Tips for using analytics effectively
- Check weekly, not daily. Social media performance fluctuates day to day. A weekly review gives you a clearer picture of trends.
- Compare content types. Look at how text posts perform versus images or videos. You might find that one format consistently outperforms the others for your audience.
- Double down on what works. When a post performs well, create more content in a similar style or on a similar topic.
- Do not ignore low performers. A post that got low engagement can teach you just as much. Look for patterns in what your audience skips.
