Visual content gets significantly more engagement than text alone. Rheos makes it easy to create professional-looking images that match your brand, even if you have no design experience. Image posts are available on all plans.

Image posts
A single image post pairs one visual with a caption. This is the most common type of social media post and works well for nearly any purpose.
Creating an image post
- Go to Create and select Image.
- Describe what you want the post to be about. For example: "Promote our weekend brunch menu with a warm, inviting feel."
- Rheos generates visual options using your brand colours and style, along with caption suggestions.
- Choose the combination you like best.
Design options
When creating an image, you can choose from different design approaches:
- AI Generated -- Rheos creates an original design based on your description. The AI uses your brand colours, fonts, and style from your profile.
- From Your Library -- Use an image you have already uploaded to your asset library. Rheos can add text overlays, branded frames, or other enhancements.
- Text Only -- A graphic with styled text on a branded background. Perfect for quotes, tips, or announcements where you do not need a photo.
Quick vs Pro image generation
Rheos offers two levels of AI image generation:
- Quick (5 credits) -- Fast generation suitable for most posts. Good quality with your brand colours and style applied.
- Pro (10 credits) -- Higher quality output with more detail and refinement. Best for hero content or posts where visual quality is especially important.
Both options are available on all plans, as long as you have credits remaining.
Editing your image
After generation, you can refine the visual:
- Ask the AI to adjust colours, layout, or text placement.
- Upload a different background image.
- Change the text overlay content or size.
- Each image edit costs 1 credit.
Image credits by plan
Your monthly credit allowance determines how many images you can generate:

These are maximums if you only use credits for one type of generation. In practice, most users mix quick and pro generation along with text posts (which use no credits).
Carousel posts
Carousels are multi-slide posts that viewers swipe through. They are one of the highest-performing content formats on Instagram and LinkedIn because they keep people engaged longer. Carousels are available on the Personal plan and above, with each slide costing 5 credits.
When to use carousels
Carousels work particularly well for:
- Step-by-step guides and tutorials.
- Lists of tips or recommendations.
- Before-and-after comparisons.
- Product showcases with multiple items.
- Storytelling across multiple frames.
How carousels work
Describe your content, and Rheos generates a complete carousel with individual slides. Each slide contains relevant text and visuals using your brand colours and style. You can reorder, edit, add, or remove slides before publishing.
A well-designed carousel typically follows this structure:
- Slide 1 (Hook) -- A bold headline that grabs attention and makes people want to swipe.
- Middle slides (Content) -- The main information, one idea per slide for clarity.
- Final slide (Call to Action) -- Tell viewers what to do next: follow, visit your website, save the post, or share it.
Carousel credits
Each slide in a carousel costs 5 credits. A 5-slide carousel would cost 25 credits total. This makes carousels a great value for high-engagement content.
Tips for visual content
- Keep text readable. If your image includes text, make sure it is large enough to read on a mobile phone screen.
- Use high-contrast colours. Text should stand out clearly against the background.
- Stay on brand. Consistent use of your brand colours and style builds recognition over time.
- Think mobile first. Most people will see your content on their phone. Design for a small screen.
